System Checklist

Cooling

  • Check operating pressure.

  • Add up to one lb of coolant, if necessary.

  • Clean condenser coil.

  • Check and tighten all electrical connections.

  • Lubricate bearings and motors where applicable.

  • Inspect and clean the condensate drain.

  • Cycle and check the thermostat for accuracy.

  • Check and adjust the fan belt where applicable.

  • Check voltage and amperage to the condensing unit.

  • Clean or change up to two basic air filters per system.

Gas Heating

  • Inspect the heat exchanger for cracks and soot.

  • Adjust flame for optimum efficiency.

  • Check the flue pipe and be sure of an adequate draft.

  • Check and clean burners as necessary.

  • Check the furnace for gas leaks.

  • Check and clean pilot assembly.

  • Check fan control and limit operations.

  • Check and lubricate the blower assembly as required.

  • Cycle and check the thermostat for accuracy.

  • Clean or change up to 2 basic air filters per system.

Electric Furnace/Heat Pumps/Air Handlers/Additional Services

Conditions

Waggoners Heating, Electric, Plumbing, and Air Conditioning will endeavor to render prompt and efficient service. Still, it is expressly agreed that Waggoners Heating, Electric, Plumbing, and Air Conditioning shall in no event be liable for damage or loss caused by delay or any failure arising out of the performance of this agreement. Waggoners Heating, Electric, Plumbing, and Air Conditioning reserves the right to reject any agreement if, upon inspection by a serviceman, equipment is found in such condition that service will be unsatisfactory to both parties. It is mutually agreed that this agreement covers only electrically operated parts inside the equipment and does not cover electrical or plumbing components or balancing beyond the unit, refrigerant leaks, any work required because of negligence, misuse of equipment, modifications of system not done by Waggoners, or because of fire, flood, acts of God, shortage of electrical or water supply, sabotage by person or animal or damage caused by freezing. No service will be rendered under this agreement if the customer has a past-due account. The customer acknowledges diagnosis and repairs by the service department are at an additional fee. This agreement is non-refundable.
